Troy Achong is a global strategy, operations, and technology executive whose career bridges
strategy, transformation, and leadership. Recognized for her ability to turn complexity into
clarity, she scales organizations that perform, evolve, and thrive.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Athena Alliance, a global community advancing
women’s leadership in the boardroom and beyond. Troy also serves as an Advisory Board
Member for Equipt Women, an organization empowering early-career women to advance in their
professions, and was most recently selected to join the Dean’s Leadership Council at the New
York Institute of Technology School of Management, where she helps shape the next generation of
business leaders.
At Paramount Global, Troy served as Executive Vice President of Technology Strategy &
Operations, leading a 400-person global organization and overseeing a $1B+ technology portfolio
with a $150M annual budget. Reporting to the CTO, she drove enterprise-wide transformation
and operational alignment across a complex global footprint. Partnering closely with Finance, she
strengthened strategic planning and supplier portfolio management, optimizing vendor
relationships and global contracts to achieve more than $400 million in run-rate savings. She also
advanced business resilience and culture across divisions, modernizing continuity operations and
leading global initiatives that connected tens of thousands of employees worldwide to innovation,
inclusion, and purpose.
Earlier at 21st Century Fox, Troy partnered with the CIO to lead one of the company’s largest
global transformations, consolidating 30 human-capital platforms into one for 43,000 employees
across 54 countries. Her strategy and change management efforts unified systems, culture, and
execution, demonstrating her hallmark ability to drive both results and engagement.
Recognized as one of AFROTECH’s 2025 Future 50 Corporate Catalysts, Troy is celebrated for her
leadership in shaping workplaces where access, belonging, and excellence coexist. She was
featured on Wharton Business Daily’s “Women in AI,” named to Gartner’s Technology Innovators
Group, and honored as an L.A. Biz Women of Influence. Her speaking engagements include The
Conference Board Women Lead Festival, Women Impact Tech Accelerate Series, and a 2023
International Women’s Day conversation with Paramount Chair Shari Redstone.
Troy holds an Executive MBA from the University of Southern California, an M.S. in Instructional
Technology from the New York Institute of Technology, and a B.A. from St. John’s University. She
is a Certified Executive Coach with multiple leadership and organizational psychology credentials.
Known for her authentic energy and strategic clarity, she builds environments where people and
organizations alike can excel and belong.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Troy enjoys traveling, hiking, and creating spaces that
bring people together. She finds joy in mentoring emerging leaders, exploring cultures that
inspire new ways of thinking, and spending time with her husband and their four adult daughters,
who remain her greatest source of pride and purpose.
