TESTIMONIALS
What happens when ambition meets the right community
Ashley Heller
CHRO at Quinstreet
“The stories I heard and the women I connected to in the Athena network helped me have the confidence to push forward and get promoted to the C-suite at a public company. Athena helped me articulate my value clearly and have the confidence to ask for what I wanted. It is an incredible community with high-quality programming and is a huge value add to the women at Quinstreet.”
Gavriella Schuster
Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Software, Microsoft, Board Director at Chinasoft
“Athena Alliance is one of the best ventures in self-development that I have done. The aspiration and connection provided me with entry into a world I didn’t even know existed. I think every senior leader at Microsoft ought to have access to an experience like this.”
Amy Bunszel
EVP of Design at Autodesk
“The more senior you get, the harder it can be to find the right development opportunities. That’s why Athena has been such an important investment in the women of Autodesk. Athena has allowed me to bring valuable external perspectives to Autodesk, provide me a more holistic view of the business, and was instrumental in moving me up into the C- Suite and Boardroom.”
Caroline Tsay
CEO @ Compute Software
“Athena Alliance is tireless in its mission to bring valuable opportunities and indispensable resources to its membership. There are only actions and results—from matching me to stimulating board roles, promoting my company and my profile among industry leaders, to helping me make the most important business connections, when I think of any organization that is a must to be a part of, I first think of Athena Alliance.”
Merline Saintil
COO, R&D and IT @ Change Healthcare; Board Director @ Lightspeed HQ, Banner Bank, ShotSpotter Inc.
“The question is, how do you get high-touch, one-on-one connections? Athena helps executives shape a board bio, tell their story, and connect to the right networks to ensure you are in the right place at the right time —all of which are difficult to do when you’re super busy.”
Beverly Cole
CEO & President @ Cole Renrick LLC; Board Director @ Founders First Capital Partners, Bank OZK
“Athena’s Virtual Salons provide invaluable information you won’t find in any book. I log in to listen, and suddenly topics I needed to know—but didn’t know I did not know—are being discussed.”
Purvee Kondal
Vice President @ Sephora, Board Advisor @ Sourcing Industry Group & RampRate
“Finding talented women leaders that were open to sharing and supporting other women was one of my initial reasons for joining Athena. Having joined it, I have gained so much valuable insights, support, and access that, as a minority woman leader, otherwise would have been less forthcoming. Athena has been paving the way to embrace diversity as a foundation and it has been refreshing to experience and be a part of.”
Amy Bunszel
Senior Vice President, Design and Creation Products @ Autodesk; Board Director @ Pixelworks
“Athena has given me an incredibly high quality peer group to network with and learn from. The connections I’ve made through Athena are with people who truly care about supporting each other and have the wisdom and experience to add value.”
