Just when we thought that the pandemic and climate change were the drivers of the “complex interconnected risk” Andrea talked about last year, this year what was Megatrend #3 becomes Megatrend #2— Climate and War Propelling Complex Risk—as a major war (Russia’s invasion of Ukraine) enters the world of interconnected complex risk. This war has given rise to (and/or exacerbated) a series of societal (humanitarian, mental health, food security) and technological (cyber and disinformation warfare) consequences - foreseen and unforeseen - that have propelled complex interconnected risk to new heights this year. Join Andrea as she dissects some of these large strategic risks and translates them into decision-maker to do’s for the coming year
