About this event

Most family conversations about aging and caring for family members generally are the result of a health crisis or emergency—neither of which is an optimal time to make decisions about long-term care needs. Join us for a discussion on “The Power of Estate and Care Planning” for yourselves and our loved ones, featuring Lisa Mayfield, founder of Aging Wisdom, and Mary Louden, estate planning attorney at Brighton Jones.    How might you broach the topic of planning for with your parents? What should you consider when planning for your own aging? How can you balance juggling the needs of parents while still taking care of your own family? Should you be considering a retirement community?    You (and your parents and loved ones) are invited to join us for an interactive discussion including insights on supporting aging parents, caring for loved ones with dementia, addressing financial considerations, tackling essential legal paperwork, and preparing yourself for solo aging—among other critical topics. ***Once you have registered, please share the Zoom link with your family if you would like them to join the discussion.
