Tiziana Figliolia Chief Financial Officer

Tiziana Figliolia is a C-level finance executive and board member with 25 years of experience in the technology industry leading a wide range of strategic, financial and operational functions at billion-dollar global publicly traded and pre-revenue startup companies operating across a multitude of industries. She is known as an innovative leader in transformational strategies and for execution with a proven record of helping companies achieve growth and maintain a competitive advantage. She has built and led international teams responsible for finance and operations in high growth and high-volume transaction environments.

Tiziana is currently Chief Financial Officer of Hootsuite, the global leader in social media management. Prior to joining Hootsuite, she was the Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations for InterDigital Inc. (NASDAQ: IDCC), and served as the Senior Director Business Strategy and Operations, Asia Pacific for Autodesk Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) in Shanghai.

She reports regularly to the Board, Audit and Finance committees on financial results, risk management and shareholders activities. She was a member of the Board of the InterDigital Foundation, and is Co-Founder, Board Member and Treasurer for Full STEAM Forward, Inc., as well as a Board Advisor to the International Professional Women’s Society (IPWS).

Tiziana earned an MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles and Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, and an Undergraduate Degree in Economics and Accounting from Universita’ Cattolica, Italy. She is fluent in English and Italian as well as conversational in French and basic Mandarin.


Coco Brown CEO

Coco is founder and CEO of Athena Alliance. Prior to her current roles, Coco served as President, COO, and Board Director of Taos, a market leader in IT Services serving hundreds of F1000 companies, including Apple, Cisco, ebay, Facebook, and Silicon Valley Bank. Coco brings rich experience across F1000 companies, start-ups, and nonprofits in the roles of CEO, COO, advisor, and Board member to Athena. She possesses a unique understanding of the breadth of challenges and opportunities of leadership. She empowers leaders to execute successfully, working with them to develop the relationship between a company’s strategy and its organizational design and environment. Coco’s expertise in developing and strengthening these important linkages makes her a powerful C-level advisor and Board member. In addition to serving on the Board of Taos from 2004 to 2014, Coco served as a Board Director for MentorNet during its rebranding, product transformation, and subsequent acquisition by Great Minds in STEM. Coco was on the finance committee supporting the Board of Directors of Samasource and established the Operating Committee for the Silicon Valley arm of Golden Seeds, a New York-based early-stage investment firm. She also currently serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee for the Anita Borg Technology Leadership Award, one of the most prestigious awards honoring women in technology.
