Jevan Soo Chief People Officer

Jevan Soo Lenox (he/him) is the Chief People Officer for insitro, a drug discovery company that leverages machine learning and high-throughput biology to transform the way medicines are brought to patients. Prior to insitro, he held multiple People Operations and business leadership roles at Stitch Fix, Square, and Blue Bottle Coffee. Jevan began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Compan in their Boston, New York, and Shanghai offices, serving clients across the technology, healthcare, and education sectors on strategy, human capital, and organizational effectiveness as well as leading McKinsey’s Asia-Pacific recruiting strategy across twelve countries.

Jevan was named a First Mover Fellow by the Aspen Institute in recognition of his leadership within organizations to align business impact with the long-term health of society and the planet. He serves on the board and Chair of the Governance Committee of Reaching Out MBA, a non-profit organization supporting and developing LGBT leaders in business.

Jevan received his MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar, his Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and Bachelors in East Asian Studies from Harvard College. He lives in San Francisco with his husband, two young sons, and a very large Airedale terrier.

Jessica Yuen Advisor to scaling startups and executive coach

Jess is a global Chief People Officer, C-suite advisor, and CEO coach whose work is driven by the belief that investing in people leads to better business outcomes. She spent 15 years driving growth at innovative organizations partnering with CEOs at Gusto, Khan Academy, and McKinsey. Her expertise lies in accelerating growth of technology-focused companies while pro-actively cultivating healthy sustainable cultures.

Currently, Jess leads a consulting company serving CEOs and executives at scaling technology companies from seed stage through IPO. Jess earned dual B.S. degrees from University of California, San Diego in Electrical Engineering and Economics, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
