Boards increasingly are scrutinized for their oversight of climate outcomes. To be effective, they must direct management to engage the entire enterprise in climate planning and action, effecting change across company operations. Boards need to forge a common understanding and language relating to climate, use compensation and other incentives to motivate executives, and create a culture of trust that encourages innovation, experimentation and smart risk-taking. All voices must be encouraged and heard, especially from marginalized communities who are disproportionally affected by climate. Learn from two experts who have focused on the people aspect of climate action as C Suite executives at leading beverage and technology companies. Athena partners with Plan C Advisors to offer briefings, assessments, and workshops that provide immediate traction in your climate action planning. Learn how Athena and Plan C can help you make climate part of your competitive advantage.
